I’m a Las Cruces Web Developer who moved to the City of the Crosses from Illinois in 2006. I graduated in 2003 with a programmer’s degree, but I’ve been creating websites since my high school days. After college I spent several years teaching myself to further specialize in web development, since that’s my passion. I’m currently employed as the Senior Web Developer at NMSU Research where I write web applications and databases for the Physical Science Lab and other Research Programs. Nights and weekends I work as a freelancer and run Duskrider Design out of my Las Cruces home.
I’ve been at NMSU for over 11 years doing what I love, creating websites and online programs designed to make people’s lives better. I’ve been working on the web for over 15 years. In that time I’ve created everything from a small one-page business card site to a muti-layered custom developed web application. I’ve got the tools and the talent to not only design a great site, but develop it from scratch. My experience has allowed me to become so comfortable with web development that I can do projects in far less time than most other designers. That’s how I can offer the products I do for such great prices.
In 2013 I married my beautiful wife, Amanda. Together we have two dogs and six chickens. We’re hoping to add an actual human baby to the family soon.
I’m also the author of the book “Bariatric Surgery: The Best and Worst Decision I Ever Made.”
